- Deuteronomy 32:7

Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.
Church History

Setauket Presbyterian Church and Burial Ground is a historic church dating back to the 1660s. Over 800 gravesites rest on the grounds containing remains of some of the earliest pastors — Nathaniel Brewster (1600-1690), George Phillips (1660-1739), and Benjamin Talmadge (1723-1786) — and historical figures including Abraham Woodhull, leader of the Culper spy ring against the British during the American Revolution.

The original structure suffered a catastrophic fire from a lightning strike and the present church was rebuilt in 1812. In 1996, the church and burial ground were added to the National Register of Historic Places.
